APPEAL OF THE MONTH – Tia

Princess Tia has been desperately seeking a new servant, but sadly none of the applicants so far have been successful.

Tia requires someone who will pander to her every need, including tirelessly dangling her favourite feather toy in front of her for her to half-heartedly dab at before she turns her attention to something more interesting.

Tia requires someone with nice shoes that she can roll around on (whilst still being on the person’s feet I may add!), and someone who will be willing to feed her treats whenever she demands them.

Tia’s new servant must have very quick reactions, because if Tia sees a piece of exposed skin on a person she quite often tries to see how tasty it is!  For this reason, Tia will not be suitable in a home with children.

She also will not be rehomed with other pets – she wants to be the main focus of attention, and who can blame her, isn’t she fabulous!?!

Blood Testing FIV/FeLV

We screen for two incurable diseases that are fatal to cats – Feline Immuno-deficiency Virus and Feline Leukaemia.

Vet Check

Our vets give each animal a thorough physical examination and carry out all recommended treatments, irrespective of cost.

Vaccinations

We vaccinate against four diseases: cat flu, feline panleucopenia, feline enteritis & feline leukaemia. All cats will have had both their primary and booster vaccinations prior to rehoming.

Treatments for Parasites

All animals are regularly treated against fleas and worms using the most effective products.

Microchipping

All animals are micro-chipped which will be transferred into your name on adoption.

Neutering

All adult cats are neutered on entering the charity; if not yet 4 months, kittens will be neutered by that age by returning them to any Swanbridge or Battle Flatts practice.

Free Insurance

Receive 4 weeks’ FREE Petplan ‘Charity Cover’ insurance on the day of adoption, ensuring your new pet is covered immediately for illness or injury up to £4000. You also have the option to continue cover as a Petplan ‘Covered for Life’ Policy, even for cats aged over 10 years – a unique benefit of our Charity Cover.
