Sonny & Iris
Sonny was handed in as a very frightened stray, but with lots of patience has now settled and soon relaxes with strokes and affection. He has mismtached ears due to a former injury whilst living outdoors. Sonny is currently sharing a pen with the lovely Iris, and they are enjoying each others company. So we think both would be suited to homes with other cats.
Iris was a frightened tabby stray found living alone when we were asked to find her a safe new home. She is still quite nervous at first with new people, so will need an understanding owner willing to give her time and patience to settle. In the cattery she likes the volunteers she knows, and comes out to explore the climbing frame and play. This timid tabby responds to love and kindness, do you have these qualities to give? She likes Sonny a lot and gains much confidence from him.
Our Adoption Fee includes our charity “7 Step Health Check”, with comprehensive treatments & benefits worth over £180 on the highstreet:
Blood Testing FIV/FeLV
We screen for two incurable diseases that are fatal to cats – Feline Immuno-deficiency Virus and Feline Leukaemia.
Our vets give each animal a thorough physical examination and carry out all recommended treatments, irrespective of cost.
We vaccinate against four diseases: cat flu, feline panleucopenia, feline enteritis & feline leukaemia. All cats will have had both their primary and booster vaccinations prior to rehoming.
Treatments for Parasites
All animals are regularly treated against fleas and worms using the most effective products.
All animals are micro-chipped which will be transferred into your name on adoption.
All adult cats are neutered on entering the charity; if not yet 4 months, kittens will be neutered by that age by returning them to any Swanbridge or Battle Flatts practice.
